Three days safari from Nairobi to Masai Mara

After working from Monday to Thursday evening in community projects, Friday through Sunday will be the best time for the volunteers to take an opportunity for wonderful safari either to Masai Mara game Park, amboseli game Park, Mombasa indian Ocean or samburu game reserve

Day 1:

– Depart from Nairobi early in the morning, heading southwest towards Masai Mara Game Reserve.
– Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views and photo opportunities.
– Continue the journey, arriving at the Masai Mara Game Reserve around midday.
– Check into your chosen accommodation, whether it’s a luxury lodge, tented camp, or budget campsite.
– Enjoy a sumptuous lunch before embarking on your first game drive in the afternoon, accompanied by experienced guides.
– Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelope species.

– Return to your accommodation as the sun sets, enjoying a delicious dinner under the starlit sky while recounting the day’s adventures.

Day 2:
– Wake up before dawn for an exhilarating sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the landscape is bathed in golden hues.
– Witness the African savannah come to life as nocturnal animals retreat and diurnal species begin their day.
– After a few hours of exploration, return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast.
– Spend the midday relaxing, perhaps taking a dip in the pool or indulging in a spa treatment (if available).
– In the afternoon, embark on another game drive to explore different areas of the reserve, increasing your chances of encountering elusive wildlife.
– As the sun sets, find a picturesque spot to enjoy sundowners, sipping on refreshing drinks while admiring the stunning scenery.
– Return to your accommodation for a delectable dinner and restful sleep, serenaded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3:

– Start the day with a final game drive, relishing the last opportunities to spot any animals on your safari checklist.
– After breakfast, bid farewell to Masai Mara and begin the journey back to Nairobi.
– En route, stop at a local Masai village to learn about their traditional way of life, cultural practices, and vibrant customs.
– Enjoy a traditional Masai dance performance and interact with the villagers, gaining insight into their rich heritage.
– Continue the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening, concluding your adventurous three-day safari with unforgettable memories of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
